About Eco Baubles Workshop - The Station

Join Kayleigh from ocre natural dye studio to print two ceramic baubles with delicate floral impressions.

You'll learn how to create a dye bath using plant based pigments and layer techniques to create beautifully textured prints. You'll pick out highlights with gold for a lovely festive sparkle and add a silk ribbon to hang your baubles before carefully wrapping them to take home and adorn your tree.

Absolute beginners welcome, no experience needed!

Kayleigh Davis is a textile artist, facilitator and the owner of Ocre Natural Dye Studio, whose practice focuses on naturally dyed silks. Immersed in nature from a young age, her work explores the impermanence and fragility of the natural world throughout the seasons by embedding foraged and grown pigments into fabric. Her process is meditative as she forages for seasonal botanicals in local woodlands and grows her own dye plants in a dedicated colour garden.
