About Memories, Friendships and Flowers - Lynne Haslam - The Station
Lynne uses traditional felting techniques along with silk and stitch embellishments, achieving what at first glance looks like a painting but on closer inspection is a rich delicious mixture of colour, texture and emotion.
Her work is imbued with her love of her subjects. In this exhibition she is exploring the memories of friendships present and past, inspiring portraits of strong, independent women, empowered by their own nature, and the power of the natural world.
