Rhlf26 Strictly Speaking With John Sergeant - The Crown Hotel

From the corridors of Westminster to the dancefloor of Strictly Come Dancing, John Sergeant has enjoyed one of the most colourful and entertaining careers in British broadcasting.

A distinguished journalist, broadcaster and author, John spent decades reporting from the heart of British politics, witnessing history unfold and interviewing many of the figures who shaped it. Along the way, his warmth, wit and wonderfully dry sense of humour made him one of the nation’s most recognisable broadcasters.

In the wide-ranging and entertaining conversation, John will reflect on an extraordinary life in journalism and television - from unforgettable encounters with political heavyweights and seismic moments in Westminster to the changing world of news, broadcasting and public life.

Expect fascinating stories, sharp observations and plenty of laughter from a consummate storyteller who has spent a lifetime watching the people in power - before unexpectedly winning over an entirely new audience on Strictly.

John Sergeant will be interviewed by Matthew Stadlen.
