Created by Yorkshire-based transatlantic folk band The Magpies, the festival brings together an eclectic mix of folk, Americana, acoustic, swing, world music and everything in between, showcasing some of the most exciting established and emerging artists from across the UK and beyond.
The Magpies Festival is built around community, connection and creating a welcoming space for everyone. Led by a female management team, the festival is passionate about championing gender equality in the music industry and promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for both musicians and festival-goers.
Rooted in its Yorkshire home, the festival celebrates the local community by supporting independent businesses, showcasing local suppliers and creating opportunities for emerging artists.
With a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, theres something for everyone from world-class live music and workshops to activities for younger festival-goers. Enjoy unforgettable performances, delicious food and drink from independent traders, artisan market stalls and camping beneath the stars in the stunning surroundings of Sutton Park.
Day tickets, weekend tickets and camping options are available. Children under 5 attend free.
