Giggleswick Railway Circle: Eric Oldham, Railway Photgrapher - Settle Victoria Hall

John has had a life long interest in railway photography and was particularly fortunate to not only have a friend in Eric but be encouraged and mentored by him. They grew up in the same town of Hyde in Cheshire and their friendship began with visits, by John as a lad, to Eric's bakery where they had chats over buns about railways and photography.

Giggleswick Railway Circle (GRC) is a voluntary group that holds regular meetings for anyone interested in railways.

Normally our meetings are held at 10.30 on the 4th Wednesday monthly, but please check the diary before travelling.
GRC is not a club; all are welcome to the meetings, and there is no subscription or membership needed. Refreshments are included in the admission charge.
