Pete Williams - Skipton Town Hall

Pete Williams is best known as a founding member of Dexys Midnight Runners, playing on their UK No.1 hit Geno and later contributing to the band's successful return as Dexys.

Following his time with Dexys, Pete formed The Bureau, touring internationally and achieving chart success in Australia and Canada, before going on to front These Tender Virtues, earning a reputation as a distinctive and compelling live performer.

Alongside Kevin Rowland and Mick Talbot, Pete contributed to the acclaimed Dexys album One Day I'm Going To Soar and performed extensively throughout the UK and Europe, including an appearance at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival.

Since launching his solo career, Pete has released critically acclaimed albums and toured with artists including The Proclaimers, The Specials and members of Ocean Colour Scene. Whether performing solo, as a duo, or with his band, he is renowned for his engaging songwriting and memorable live shows.
