About Blind Jack's Last Road - The Mitre Inn

As darkness falls over Knaresborough, follow a ghostly guide through shadowed streets that head to the ancient graves of St Johns churchyard for an immersive ghost story inspired by Yorkshires hidden past. Blending live performance, storytelling and haunting historical details, Blind Jacks Last Road invites audiences to hear the final story of one of Yorkshires most extraordinary figures, meeting some forgotten voices who emerge from the darkness along the way. As the town falls silent and the pathways grow darker, Ghost Light will lead audiences on a chilling journey through loss, folklore and the lingering echoes of those left behind. Created for lovers of ghost stories, local history and atmospheric theatre, this late-night theatrical walk transforms Knaresborough itself into a stage where the past still breathes beneath the stones.
