About Besieged - Stephen Joseph Theatre

Besieged is the explosive final chapter in a trilogy created with young people from Eastfield, following Battleground (2024) and the double award-winning Feral (2025).

The play centres on a house party that spirals out of control, drawing hundreds of teenagers to a single home and bringing riot police onto the estate. In the aftermath of that night, Besieged explores the complex relationship between young people, the communities they live in, and the spaces they claim as their own.

Raw, urgent and darkly funny, the play captures a generation negotiating belonging, reputation and responsibility in a place defined by others.
