About Playwrights' Room - Stephen Joseph Theatre
This event is an exploration of the communal writing process, an expression of subjectivity, and a lot of fun.
Through the messy, silly, and ambitious process of group-writing an entire play, you will get to see first-hand the diversity and creativity of local talent.
Facilitated by Alfie Howle, the Scarborough Playwrights Room is a regular group of writers, actors, directors (and any other kinds of theatre-makers) who come together to combine their talents, learn from each other, and develop plays.
New members are always welcome.
