Kirkbymoorside 10K - Kirkbymoorside Memorial Hall

Come and join us for a fantastic day in Kirkbymoorside with something for everyone. The 10K has been billed as “The Best in North Yorkshire”. We have a race for all ages and abilities.

Challenge yourself to the 10K, a fast paced, undulating race, heading up from Kirkbymoorside into the villages of Gillamoor and Fadmoor, followed by a fast downhill finish to Kirkbymoorside.

Or how about trying the 4K – need something to aim for in 2026, completed couch to 5K and fancy a challenge - a fantastic introduction to races/events, something to do with your family, friends, team mates or work colleagues or a maybe a chance to push yourself over a shorter distance. There is the option of entering as a team of up to 4 - run together or separately – your times will be added up at the end – there will be small prize for the fastest team.

All races will be chip timed (apart from the dash) and age category prizes will up for grabs. All children running the dash or mile and all runners in the 4K will receive a medal. The famous Kirkby 10K mug will be presented to everyone finishing the 10K and there will be a cash prize of £100 for the first male or female to beat the respective course record.

No one will be left behind with sweepers running all races.

We promise a fantastic atmosphere and lots of support. All profits from the race go to local schools.
