About Experience the Night Sky – An Evening with Richard Darn - Dales Countryside Museum
We’ll go in search of wonders in the night sky as the winter stars give way to those of spring. We will spy distant star clusters and have a fantastic view of a near first quarter moon. Bring your smartphone and we will show you how to take a picture of the lunar craters, lava flows and mountains! Plus a short distance away is Mars, glowing with its trademark red tint. There will also be a fascinating beginner’s tour of the heavens using planetarium software. Ticket to include supper
