About Darlington Society of Arts Annual Exhibition - The Station
Our Society was established in 1922, with the object of stimulating interest in both the creation and appreciation of Art and Craftwork in Darlington and the surrounding area. Our membership is currently around 60 members and is open to anyone interested in art from beginners to experts. We encourage our members to attend workshops from visiting artists to widen their horizons and perhaps try something new. As you will see, our exhibition doesn't follow a theme; it consists of a wonderful world of art by a variety of artists and mediums: watercolour, oil, acrylic, mixed media, pen & ink/graphite drawings, pastel plus crafts: woodwork, driftwood, ceramics & pottery.
