About Moonlight on the Lake

Moonlight on the Lake Returns to Peasholm Park

This October, Peasholm Park in Scarborough will once again be illuminated by the gentle glow of lanterns as Moonlight on the Lake returns for another year. Following the success of the 2021, 2022, and 2024 events, this year’s trail promises to be the most spectacular yet, featuring more lanterns than ever before.

Organised by local theatre company Animated Objects on behalf of North Yorkshire Council, the event offers a peaceful and atmospheric evening walk through one of the region’s most picturesque parks.
