North Yorkshire Open Studios Summer - Various venues, North Yorkshire

This June, artists will open their studios to the public as part of North Yorkshire Open Studios 2026 — with over 200 artists taking part, this is one of the UK’s largest celebrations of local art.
Over two weekends the event invites visitors to step behind the scenes, meet the artists, and experience the creative process first-hand. See inside each artists studio - it is an open invitation to look, ask questions, and enjoy art up close. Seeing artwork in real life reveals texture, scale, and detail that can never quite be captured on a screen.

From atmospheric landscapes shaped by memory and movement to bold abstract works that play with light and texture, the studios offer a rich mix of styles and approaches.

Visitors will encounter work inspired by Yorkshire’s natural beauty, intricate explorations of hidden organic worlds, and imaginative pieces blending folklore, cityscapes, and everyday moments. Each studio offers a chance to connect directly with the maker and discover the stories behind the work.
