About The Giant Who Slept for Ten Thousand Years - Skipton Town Hall

A heartfelt Nordic tale for 3+ about our relationship to nature, friendship and the places we call home.

Our story begins ten thousand years ago, in an icy fjord on the northernmost island. The youngest in a family of giants played with pebbles on the beach. One pebble was thrown too far, one powerful sea troll woke, one gigantic wave rose And Bjorna was gone. Time passed. Plants grew and died. Miners broke the earth, turned the soil, dug deeper and deeper for riches, until... With an ear-splitting boom and an earth-shaking quake, the hill awakened!

A puppet show in a suitcase about our relationship with nature, friendship, and the places we call home. For adults and children aged 3 and up!
