About Still Life - Songs by John Pattison - Woodend Gallery and Studios

Film and theatre composer John Pattison, with singer and performer Josephine Rowe, present an evening of original songs covering all aspects of life. Moving and funny with a selection of beautiful melodies, rich textures and thought provoking lyrics.

Pattison and Rowe perform songs from John’s rich catalogue of material, featuring John's latest creation ‘Still Life’ a contemporary song cycle, which reflects on love, loss and light at the end of the tunnel. Performed using a combination of Piano and the JPO Virtual Orchestra, this promises to be a very enjoyable evening.

Pattison and Rowe have been performing together for the last ten years. Josephine has played leading roles in many of the musicals co-written by Pattison with Scarborough based writer Allie Watt. Allie was Artistic Director of Scarborough’s much-loved Beach Hut Theatre Company CIO. John Pattison has also written musicals with Alan Ayckbourn and John Godber, many of which have been published and produced worldwide.
