Join Robert Dransfield in this museum talk as he shares the powerful history of the Simpson Bell family, including the life of 2nd Lt Donald Simpson Bell VC and the moving memories preserved by his sister Dorothy. Featuring original letters from the front, photographs, and personal insights from Harrogate, this is a rare and intimate look at life during wartime.

Donald Simpson Bell is the only professional footballer to have been awarded a Victoria Cross.
