About Operation Sealion Museum Talk with Jonathan Cunningham - The Green Howards Museum

Join us for an evening of code breaking tales and learn how the British prepared for a German invasion. This is a battle that was never fought, and now brought to life by Jonathan Cunningham MBE, a retired Green Howard Major.

Operation Sealion, the German plan for the UK invasion, and the British preparation for war. A fascinating tale of bluff and double bluff, but also a story about mind blowing British innovation, code breaking and defiance. Incredibly, some of the physical signs of that preparation remain today.

This is a battle that was never fought and brought to life by Jonathan Cunningham, a retired Green Howard Major.
