About Easter Living History - Eden Camp Modern History Museum

Experience the Second World War like never before at Eden Camp's Living History Weekend. Set within an original 1940s Prisoner of War camp, this special two-day event brings wartime Britain to life through costumed re-enactors, historical characters, and hands-on encounters.

Meet soldiers, civilians, and Home Front figures from the era, ask questions, handle authentic equipment, and discover the real stories behind life during the war — from rationing and evacuation to the role of the armed forces.

Combined with Eden Camp's 22 immersive huts exploring every aspect of the Second World War, it's a fully immersive day out for history lovers of all ages.

Taking place during the Easter school holidays, it's the perfect addition to a family trip to North Yorkshire.

Free parking. Family tickets available. Pre-book online to save.
