About The Imposter in Us. Why Imposter Syndrome can be a force for good - St Mary's Church
Imposter syndrome or phenomenon is often framed as purely negative - feeling like a fraud, doubting your abilities or attributing success to luck rather than skill. But, in the right context, it can actually be useful.
Join Duncan Lewis MA, Communication Trainer, for an engaging 60-minute talk about this often misunderstood experience that we allow to adversely affect us. Learn some techniques on how to reframe this mindset as a signal of growth, humility and opportunity.
Duncan owns and runs his business Eaglei. A former director of professional theatre, Duncan now brings his experience and enthusiasm to support individuals and organisations, building and inspiring confidence in all his clients. With extensive experience in the private, public and third sectors, Duncan works all around the UK, but predominantly with businesses and in education across Yorkshire. He offers one day training workshops as well as individual coaching, supporting people to communicate their spoken messages more effectively and present the best version of themselves.
Duncan augmented his knowledge base by studying an MA in Leadership and Management, graduating in 2013. In 2020, Duncan wrote his debut book Speak Out! How I Make an Emotional Connection in Communication .
