Thurza 'paints' with wool allowing the layers and textures to evolve and grow into three-dimensional relief.
Thurza's planning sometimes starts with a sketchbook where she tries out new ideas before committing to the wool. Other times she just jumps right in and lets the wool, textures and colours just lead her.
She is influenced by the colourful floral world, nature and wildlife blended with the colourful simplicity of Folk Art from around the world.
