British Gravel Championships, at Dalby Forest

Get ready for an adrenaline-fuelled weekend at the British Gravel Championships – the ultimate test of grit, skill and stamina as the country’s best gravel racers go head-to-head for the coveted title. For 2025, the Championships take place at Dalby Forest, nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.

Watch riders push their limits across the demanding terrain over multiple laps, whether you're cheering on the Elite contenders chasing glory or competing yourself.

Spectators and supporters can enjoy the full festival experience too, with live music, delicious food and drink, family friendly activities, inspiring panel talks, shakeout rides, and soak up the buzz of the expo and demo village. With on-site camping available, why not stay for the weekend, and explore what North Yorkshire has to offer.

Friday 12 September 2025 from 3pm

Time Trial

The Time Trial is a new addition to the British Gravel Championships, offering an exciting challenge for those aiming for a National Champions jersey or those simply looking to stretch themselves in a new contest. Categories will include Elite, Junior and all Masters age groups with podiums, Champions jerseys and medals on offer in all age categories.

Route and race distance:  13.8km circuit with 150m of climbing 
Eligibility: Open to riders aged 19 and older

Masters and Junior Championships 

The Masters Gravel Race and the Junior Championships are the perfect challenge for those looking to take on their fellow age-group competitors.

Open to riders aged 16 and older on event day

Route & Race distance: 120km and 2000m of climbing (same route/distance as Elite Races) through Dalby Forest (on four x 30km laps).

Sundowner Gravel Ride

Wrap up your Saturday with the 5km Sundowner ride as the sun sets, perfect for families and riders looking to unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.

Sunday 14 September 2025 

Elite Championship Races from 9am

The Elite Races will crown both men’s and women’s British Gravel Champions and is open to all ages 19+.

This is a gravel paradise with rugged terrain, epic climbs, and exhilarating descents. Its unique blend of beauty and brutality will push racers to their limits while rewarding with awe-inspiring views.

Route & Race distance: 120km and 2000m of climbing (same route/distance as Elite Races) through Dalby Forest (on four x 30km laps).

Start times: Men at 9am, Women at 1pm
