About The History of the Eagles - unplugged & candlelit - Selby Abbey
The magic of The Eagles is brought to life by The Bootleg Eagles in an intimate, acoustic and candlelit experience inside the magnificent Selby Abbey.
This very special concert strips the music back to its purest form—acoustic guitars, piano, vocal harmonies and storytelling—allowing the timeless songwriting of The Eagles to shine in the stunning natural acoustics of Selby Abbey.
Throughout the evening, you’ll be taken on a journey through the band’s remarkable catalogue, from early country-rock gems like Take It Easy and Peaceful Easy Feeling, to powerhouse ballads such as Desperado, and of course the iconic Hotel California. Each song is reimagined in a warm, unplugged setting that brings a new intimacy to these classic tracks.
Set against the atmospheric glow of hundreds of candles and the breathtaking architecture of Selby Abbey, this concert promises a truly magical night of music, nostalgia and storytelling. Whether you’re a lifelong Eagles fan or discovering their music anew, this is an evening that will stay with you long after the final chord rings out.
