About The Restless Coast: Roger Morgan Grenville - Quayside

Ex-soldier, storyteller, and seaside crusader.

From helping to set up the charity Help For Heroes to co-founding Curlew Action, Roger Morgan Grenville is no stranger to standing up for a cause.

Whitby’s towering cliffs and rocky shores offers the perfect backdrop for his latest book, The Restless Coast: A Journey around the Edge of Britain.

Roger’s 10,000-mile adventure around the country’s coastline is a moving and beautiful journey - a delightful travelogue and passionate defence - a personal love letter to the coast.

Interviewing Roger is the Chief Executive of Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Mike Pratt.

Mike has worked in conservation for over 40 years and is passionate about reconnecting people with nature. He is also a writer. His books include Infinite Wonder which explores the healing power of nature and My Wild Northumbria.
