The sisters are also the subject of a TV biopic - Outrageous - on UKTV, starring Bessie Carter, Orla Hill, Will Attenborough, James Purefoy, and Anna Chancellor.

TV personality, the barrister and author Rob Rinder, has long had a slight obsession with the sisters, as has Leticia Lentini, who runs the Whitby-based publisher, Crow Emporium.
