About Skipton International Puppetry Symposium 2025: Reconnect Revision Re-set - Skipton Town Hall
Friday 17th (09.00-16.30) & Saturday 18th October 2025 (08.30-15.45). Free puppetry performances, exhibition and demonstrations will continue for the public on Sunday 19th.
A two-day gathering of puppetry professionals from across the UK.

Friday:
* Panel Discussions on UK puppetry today with the British Puppetry Guild, The Puppet Centre, PuppeteersUK, British Unima, Curious School of Puppetry, Punch and Judy Fellowship with Q&As
* Panel Discussion on Early Careers in the sector with Curious School of Puppetry & Q&A
* Networking opportunities
* Displays, demonstrations, and stalls
* Lunch provided
* Live streaming available for the panel discussions. These will be available to book separately for a small fee. Link coming soon.
Saturday:
* Networking breakfast (provided)
* Open Discussion Devoted and Disgruntled with Improbable Theatre (included in ticket but must be booked separately as limited number of places bookings for this opening soon)
* Displays demonstrations, workshops and stalls
* Panel Discussion on International Touring with Theatre Rites and British Unima & Q&A
* Book signing
* Lunch Provided
Activities to continue on Sunday 19th:
Puppeteers UK AGM (members only) to take place at Craven Arts Centre
Free puppetry performances, exhibition and demonstrations.
Tickets includes lunch and a performance of your choice (options available when booking) running on Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th.
