The original Nao Victoria, under the command of Juan Sebastián Elcano, set sail from Seville in 1519, returning triumphantly in 1522 as the first ship to tour the world. Now, this faithful replica continues its voyage, docking at Scarborough Harbour as part of its European Tour. Acting as a floating museum and training ship, it has already welcomed more than six million visitors at ports across Europe and the USA.

Your visit includes a self-guided tour of the ship’s decks, where you’ll uncover the historical and social stories that shaped this pioneering expedition. Explore information panels, immerse yourself in the authentic recreation of shipboard life, and engage with the crew—real sailors who live just as their predecessors did 500 years ago. Step into history, experience life aboard, and see firsthand how these explorers sailed across the world.

Adults: £8

Children (5 - 10 years): £4. Children under 5 are free and must be accompanied by an adult.

Family ticket: £20 (2 adults + up to 3 children aged 5 - 10 years).
