About Princess Restaurant
Welcome to The Princess family restaurant where good food, great value and friendly service is the byword. Since 1952 we have been catering for the promenader, offering homemade food using the freshest local produce and all served in a friendly and cosy environment. Why not try our all in ‘fish & chip deal’ or one of our homemade delicious daily specials.
As far as we can tell, the Princess Café has been a restaurant on this site since 1912, prior to that the building was used as a Police Station, and the cells can still be found in the cellar. The present business has survived 2 world wars, bombings and bombardments and has been in the ownership of the Senior family since 1952.
