About Eddi Reader and John Douglas - Masham Town Hall

Eddi Reader, and her husband John Douglas, are back on the road as a duo. Following a highly successful tour last year, they are now touring the country promoting their newly recorded album, their first as a duo.

The shows will feature songs from the new album, some songs from both Eddi's and John's rich and varied catalogues, as well as a few surprises. Their luiscious harmonies, along with guitar, ukulele, autoharp and concertina, will bring the songs to life, and each night will have its own special, spontaneous vibe of song and storytelling.

Eddi Reader is an award-winning singer-songwriter, famous as part of Fairground Attraction and as one of Scotland's most popular singers, including her inspired settings of Robert Burns's poems. John Douglas has been songwriter and guitarist in the Trashcan Sinatras for over 30 years, as well as releasing solo material. Come along and see what these two very special artists create together.
