About Stitching the Meaning of Colour - Gallery 33

This immersive 120 minute workshop invites participants to explore the history, symbolism, and emotional impact of colour across cultures. Participants will learn how colour can evoke feelings, memories, and thoughts, and how it has varied meanings in different cultural contexts.

The creative focus will be on running stitch on delicate washi paper, combined with colour and collage materials. This process encourages mindfulness, personal reflection, and artistic discovery, giving participants time to explore their own creative ideas.
