Paul has been the Look North weather presenter for over 30 years and also the BBC's climate and environment correspondent.
After gaining a First in Geophysics from Newcastle University he went on to study Meteorology at the Met Office in Reading. he then joined the BBC in Leeds highlighting the importance of climate change to their TV audience.
This evening he will talk about the weather and climate as it affects Britain and Yorkshire in the past, present day and the future. He will take questions from the audience and sign his books during the interval.
