One of Whitby’s greatest treasures is hidden on the first floor of the famous W Hamond Whitby jewellery boutique. Step into our historic store, discover our stunning collections of Whitby Jet jewellery and follow the scent of home baking into our charming W Hamond Tea Rooms.

Since its opening in 2010, the W Hamond Tea Rooms has been welcoming locals and visitors from all across the world with a tempting array of delicious meals and traditional home baking. We cater for tastes of all kind, whether you fancy breakfast, afternoon tea or just a refreshing cold drink after a long day of exploring the historical seaside town.

From crab sandwiches, to homemade soup, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, paninis and cream teas, all our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order and we always aim to use and support local produce whenever possible.

We will also always try our best to accommodate any special dietary requirements, providing vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options.
