'Verses, Voices' is an hour-long performance, designed to reclaim attention for the range of brilliant British poetry produced in the 1950's, '60s and '70s. This was a period of outstanding poetic quality, variety and, most strikingly, accessibility, which has - in the years since - been neglected due to the poetry world's preoccupation with the contemporary and narrowly topical.
