About Open Spaces - Matthew Scott

An exhibition of watercolour and oil paintings inspired by the landscapes of Northern England‘Open Spaces’ is an exploration of the landscapes of Northern England, inspired by the views Matt observes on his hikes with his dog, Charlie. In this exhibition, Matt aims to capture the beauty and variety of these landscapes through the seasons, highlighting the changing atmosphere resulting from different light and weather conditions. The exhibited works include both oil and watercolour, as he finds the approaches and techniques of the two mediums suitable for conveying different moods and themes.Www.Mattscottart.Co.UK
