Nature In the Frame - Liz Emery and Kerry Dinsdale

A collaboration of work in textiles & photography that reflect the Richmondshire landscapeKerry and Liz have come together in this exhibition to express their love of the landscape through their individual passions for photography & felting.Both Kerry and Liz have explored the ever-changing seasons in Richmond and surrounding areas.Kerry makes an effort to be outdoors to see every sunrise throughout the year, in doing so gets to see the misty mornings and the bright sunrises, capturing them all. Every day is different.Liz loves to walk and takes photographs of the landscape along the way. Liz likes to capture images of flora and fauna in meadows & hedgerows, which she then converts into felted images.Liz and Kerry found they shared a similar eye for composition and also a love of the countryside.Through this exhibition they want to show how the two different mediums can result in entirely different outcomes.
