About Make Do & Mend Together - Woven Patches for Well-Loved Clothes

Join us for a fun and creative family workshop led by Yarndale, where youll learn the art of visible mending and make your own colourful patch to repair or customise your well-loved clothes! Inspired by our exhibition Designed for War and the Second World Wars Make Do & Mend campaign, this hands-on session will show you how to repurpose clothing using a simple weaving technique. Its a great way to give old garments new lifeand a unique look!Come and get creativemend, make, and learn together!No experience is needed and all materials will be supplied.Children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for children age 7 and up.Free for accompanying adult/s.
