Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich artistic heritage of the Yorkshire Dales.Our Artists and Craftspeople include members of our cooperative run shop in Askrigg which is open 7 days a week. Many of us will take commissions to make bespoke unique pieces for that special occasion. Details of craft classes and courses are also available.Exhibiting artists include:Maxine Ahmed: A painter influenced by her late father, Maxine captures passion and emotion in every brushstroke.Liz Lambert Ceramics A Potter producing hand thrown decorative and functional stoneware and porcelain. Carved or sculpted decoration before using slip trailing, wax resist, and hand painted.Elli Sarri-Neate: A textile fibre artist, Elli sculpts animals and paintings using wool fibres with intricate detail.Caroline Rodgers: Skilled in traditional ropemaking, Caroline represents Askrigg's heritage in every handcrafted rope.Magdooshka Creates: Magda designs stained glass inspired by nature, crafting her intricate works in her garden studio.Louise Curnin: a Feltmaker, Tutor and Milliner, Louise lives here in the beautiful surroundings of Wensleydale. Many things inspire her work but the biggest influence is the landscape all around.As well as many more exceptional artists, and crafts people.
