Gaelforce are a Celtic Folk Rock music band from Yorkshire playing a mixture of rocked up traditional folk songs, self penned songs/tunes in the trad style & jigs n reelsWe are Chris Dyson fiddle, vocal ex Mike Hardings Band, Roisin Ban. Geoff Taylor electric guitars ex Duncan McFarlane Band Sammy Dowgill bass, vocal Jim Brierley drums, vocal Craig McIntosh highland bagpipes Pipe Major with the Los Angeles Pipe Band USAThe band have recorded & released the album `Equinox` which has been distributed through distrokid & is available on most digital platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music & Apple Music. & at gigs.On Jan 6th2023 Gaelforce played at the Great British Folk Festival at Butlins in Skegness & won by public vote the competition on the introducing stage. It was a greast moment playing to a couple of thousand festival people & we were then invited to play on the centre stage on the Saturday which was fantastic playing again to a couple of thousand people.
