About Toy Theatre - The Golden Goose - Skipton Town Hall

Free - Non-Ticketed - Just Turn Up!

A light-hearted colourful adaptation of this classic Grimms’ fairytale with live narration and atmospheric sound effects. A simpleton wins a princess’s hand in marriage with the help of a golden goose gifted by a stranger whom he shows kindness to. He encounters various people along the way who have different reasons for ‘’ sticking ‘’ with him.

Each show is followed by workshop and demos; Free paper puppets and mini toy theatres to make and to take away.

The space will also be used for the Toy Theatre Exhibition – contemporary and traditional toy theatre exhibits on display from 10.30.



Important Information:
Please note that these performances and workshops will take place in the Education Room. This is accessed at the rear of Skipton Town Hall on Museum Walk, opposite Starbucks.

These performances are seated, but are offered on a first come, first served basis.
