Recreate the historic Battle of the Standard with the Brompton Bankers wargamers, and explore fascinating, detailed displays. Learn the rules of wargaming and make the battle come to life - suitable for adults and children!
Meet our costumed volunteer dressed as a Scots warrior, complete with a hide shield, replica weaponry, and handling objects made out of antlers and reindeer bone. Ask questions, learn about life on the battlefield nearly 900 years ago, and learn about local heritage through creativity.
