Monogrammed Leather Purse Workshop - Just Makers

Date:
Sat 5 Jul 2025 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM

About Monogrammed Leather Purse Workshop - Just Makers

Join designer and leatherworker Katie Roe for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of traditional hand leatherwork. A former fashion designer and current university lecturer, Katie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for craft to every session.

You’ll choose from premium tan or nude vegetable-tanned leathers, select your stitching thread and closure, and learn timeless techniques including hand saddle stitching and edge burnishing. You’ll also have the opportunity to personalise your purse using a hot foil machine to add monogrammed initials in a range of foil colours or opt for subtle debossed letters.

Each purse is finished with a dust bag, making it a thoughtful gift, whether for yourself or someone special.

All tools, materials, and aprons are provided, and the workshop is perfect for beginners. Come and enjoy a few hours of creativity and leave with something beautiful and truly unique.
