About Mosaic Taster Workshop - The Station
Expert tutor, Helen, will guide you through all the steps to equip you with the building blocks to expand further if you wish.
1. An introduction to the materials a host of different ceramic and glass tesserae / pottery fragments / glass off-cuts
2. Planning and drawing a design - design inspiration is provided, or you may wish to use one of the pre-prepared designs
3. Learning to cut tiles with tile cutters and glass cutters
4. Glueing tiles into position on base board, then the final grouting stage to complete the surface finish
All materials are provided but please bring an apron to help keep your clothes clean.
