About Battleground - Stephen Joseph Theatre
In 2024, we created Battleground, a powerful play for young people in Eastfield, exploring what it means to be defined in a negative light.
Battleground isn’t about conflict between a community and its young people-it’s about the struggle to become the person you want to be, rather than the one you feel you’re expected to be. It’s about breaking free from negativity and finding your own path.
