About Gigs at Gaia: Anthony Gray - St Wilfrid's Church

Anthony Gray is an organist, pianist, conductor and composer based in Yorkshire. In this evening concert, join Gray on a journey through the universe as you travel from Bob Chilcott’s awakening Sun dance, through to Hans Zimmer’s epic intergalactic score for Interstellar. Gray’s expert command of the organ is set to transform the cinematic score into an immersive, sonic journey through space and time. The evening will also feature the transcendent works Pari Intervallo by Arvo Pärt and Le Banquet Céleste by Olivier Messiaen, both of which will showcase the organ’s extraordinary ability to convey both ethereal beauty and deep spiritual resonance.

The concert will last c.60 minutes with no interval.
