About Jane Eyre - Knaresborough Castle and Museum
This adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's classic novel brings to life the story of young governess Jane Eyre, who arrives at the mysterious Thornfield Hall deep in the Yorkshire Moors. There, she meets her enigmatic new employer, Mr. Rochester. Sparks fly between the pair, but when a terrifying secret from the past returns to haunt them, can Jane and Rochester’s passion survive the forces that might tear them apart forever?
Gates open at 6pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own rugs or low-backed seating for comfort, and picnics are welcome to enhance the evening experience. The event is dog-friendly and will proceed in all but the worst weather conditions, so be sure to dress accordingly.
Tickets can be purchased online, with options for adults, children, and family packages.
