W14: Hudswell And Hag Wood Nature Walk - The Station

About W14: Hudswell And Hag Wood Nature Walk - The Station
Join the local National Trust Ranger for a walk through Hudswell and Hag Woods. We will be identifying flora and fauna as we go and stopping to discuss the management of these important woodlands and riverside pastures. There are lots of fine views of the river and the wooded valley, and from Hag Wood we will see one of Turners famous views of Richmond Castle. Please note that some of the woodland paths are steep, with some steps, and may be slippery in wet conditions. Although the walk is relatively short, we do stop to discuss points of interest, so this will be a full day. Please bring lunch and a drink.
