About Portraits In Pencil - Heather Ritchie - The Station
Heather is largely self taught, but joined the Bonny Snowdon Academy to further her skills, enabling her to create realism in her portraits. Her love of using high grade coloured pencils for her work stems from her draughting career which required dexterity and precision. Inspired by her fondness for animals she has created many private commissions of family pets. She is a member of the Association of Animal Artists.
