About Thirsk Rock Choir - Thirsk Methodist Church

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

Your friendly local Thirsk choir is run by singing teacher Florence Glen. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local Thirsk and wider North Yorkshire community. We are the Thirsk rehearsal of the trailblazing Rock Choir. We often team up with the other local North Yorkshire choirs to sing in concert in groups of any size, 100, 500 and even and even 12,000 at the O2 arena in Summer 2013. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir.

Lift your spirits and rejuvenate your body and soul with a weekly hour and a half of exceptional singing tuition at the Thirsk Rock Choir. There's no need to audition or read music, or even to perform if you're not ready, there's just a comfortable, friendly, family environment full of new friends to be made. If you are looking for a more convenient choir near Thirsk or a choir on another night of the week simply visit the choir locations page at rockchoir.com.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I looked for years for somewhere to sing with others, but never found a group that sang a wide range of songs that you  looked forward to singing with a smile on your face and a swing in the hips. Rock Choir arrived and filled that void, I'm still smiling.' - Isabel (Rock Choir Member)
