YHA Whitby is a Grade I listed manor house beside Whitby Abbey, with parts dating back to the 13th century. Once home to the Cholmley family, it retains many original features while offering 28 rooms (most en-suite), plus campsite with 2 bell tents, lounges, a classroom/conference space, self-catering kitchen, café - serving breakfasts, light meals and drinks and free guest parking. Enjoy panoramic views over Whitby and the River Esk. As part of YHA England & Wales, we help make travel, adventure and discovery accessible to all.
