The Star Inn at Harome
The Michelin-starred Star Inn at Harome has been a foodie and celebration destination for over 30 years. Set in a picture-perfect C14th thatched Inn, it offers highly seasonal 'modern Yorkshire' menus featuring local produce and a notable wine list.
About The Star Inn at Harome
The Michelin-starred 3 AA Rosette Star Inn at Harome celebrated 30 years under the same ownership in 1996. Since Andrew Pern's arrival at this picture-perfect C14th thatched Inn, The Star has won virtually every relevant hospitality industry award, some of them more than once!
The Star's 'modern Yorkshire' menus are written by the seasons and, through the year, will feature furred and feathered game, Yorkshire rhubarb and asparagus, North Sea fish and shellfish alongside short-season mushrooms and truffle. Visitors can choose from a range of menus from bar snacks in The Star's pub, to a full À la Carte menu or even a 10-course Tasting Menu with optional matched Wines Package in the Restaurant.
Accommodation is available just across the road at Cross House Lodge and The Farmhouse making The Star an ideal destination for a foodie short break - and for small weddings and celebrations. There are a number of locations suitable for group dining from the Private Dining Room and Wine Room at The Star itself to the atmospheric Wheelhouse at Cross House Lodge, which is licensed for civil ceremonies.
